Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Meriden, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver resident care in a warm, home-like environment.

As a CNA you will assist with activities of daily living, document care, and provide emotional support, contributing to a high-quality experience for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Documenting care provided and reporting changes in resident health or behavior to staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Using customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.
