Job summary

Desert Springs Healthcare in Hobbs, NM is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The role provides routine nursing care under supervision, with a focus on resident comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a CNA program or hold a CNA license.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine nursing care under supervision to ensure resident comfort and safety.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and as directed to provide care.
• Verify resident identification before delivering care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator promptly.
• Make beds and keep bedside areas clean and organized.
• Assist with water service and ensure pitchers are filled and accessible.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
