Qualifications

• State certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
• Previous inpatient or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is essential.
• Experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including ICU settings if required.

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents and reporting health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks, including bed baths and shaving.
• Setting up meal trays and documenting food and fluid intake; feeding Residents as needed.
• Making beds and keeping Residents' spaces clean and tidy.
• Transporting Residents within the Facility and turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all Resident and Facility data.
