Job summary

Seacrest Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Monroe, Michigan, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our 150-bed sub-acute facility. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and support residents in daily activities.

The role includes assisting with ADLs, monitoring vital signs, helping with mobility and transfers, and documenting care. New graduates are welcome; an active Michigan CNA certification and a high school diploma

Qualifications

• CNA certification in Michigan (active)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0 years of experience accepted (new graduates welcome)
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients safely

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with vital signs including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Help patients with mobility and transfers (walking, standing, sitting)
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and families
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care and interactions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes
