Majestic Care of Newburgh is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated care team. The CNA will directly assist residents with daily living activities, respond to call lights, and help coordinate transfers with nurses to maintain safety and comfort.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, with opportunities to contribute to continuous quality improvement and to work in a supportive environment that values infection control and privacy.

Qualifications

• Certified and state tested as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Respond to call lights to provide comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair within the community.
• Report significant findings to the nurse promptly.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge to ensure smooth transitions.
• Maintain safekeeping of residents' personal belongings.
• Keep resident rooms neat and safe.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Respect residents' privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide restorative care to prevent complications.
