Job summary

Blessing Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at our Quincy, IL location to provide supportive patient care under RN supervision in a General Medical/Neurology unit. The position requires a CNA certification with good verbal communication skills; PCA/SNA routes exist for alternative candidates.

Compensation includes hourly pay with shift differentials where applicable, plus competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; or, be of at least 16 years of age with an active C.N.A. certification.
• Good verbal communication skills
• Must be one of the following: (N/A for PCA, SNA or PCT) -> C.N.A.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care activities and non-nursing tasks under the direct supervision of the RN.
• Collaborate with other nursing staff to support patient care.
• Demonstrate understanding of the age-specific needs of patients from infant to geriatric.
