Job summary

Accel at College Station, located in College Station, TX, is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team. You will provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients, assisting with daily living activities and collaborating with nursing staff to monitor conditions.

As a CNA, you will monitor vital signs, support mobility, and maintain a safe environment while upholding infection control standards. State CNA certification, HS diploma, and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification recognized by the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Support mobility, including transferring patients and helping with walking or exercise.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment following infection control protocols.
• Communicate patient status and needs with nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and compassionate care.
• Assist with feeding and ensure proper hydration as directed.
• Document care and maintain accurate patient records per policy.
