Job summary

Winchester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs to join our skilled nursing team. You will assist residents with activities of daily living and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities include ADLs, dining assistance, documenting intake, measuring vital signs, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. We value teamwork, professionalism, and empathy in daily interactions.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts CNA certification required and in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think critically and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) per care plans and facility policies.
• Coordinate dining services, including meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documentation of intake.
• Deliver nutritional supplements and document intake accurately.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake, and output.
• Promptly report changes in residents’ condition to the nurse and supervisor.
• Monitor residents’ skin condition and report issues to the nurse and supervisor.
• Provide supportive services to nurses and other care team members as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Complete accurate daily documentation.
• Demonstrate flexibility with assignments.
• Promote resident dignity, respect, safety, and comfort.
