Job summary

The Vineyards Healthcare Center in Livermore, California is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team. We provide 24-hour Medicare-certified care in an 83-bed facility and value compassionate, resident-centered service.

As a CNA you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, support mobility, document care, and participate in care planning with our nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must have an active CA CNA license and BLS through AHA.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric care is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bath, dress, grooming, feeding).
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Document care and resident condition changes per policy.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and families.
• Assist with infection control to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Join team meetings and help implement care plans.

The Vineyards Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing facility located at 76 Fenton Street, Livermore, California. It offers 24-hour Medicare-certified care in an 83-bed facility near downtown Livermore. It has received high-performing ratings in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care from the U.S. News & World Report. The center is committed to providing individualized, holistic care through warm and meaningful interactions, aiming to help residents achieve their best outcomes and ensure their comfort is a top priority.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Help with mobility and ensure residents are safe and comfortable during transfers.
• Document care provided and any changes in residents’ conditions in accordance with facility policies.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families.
• Assist with infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with nursing staff to create and implement care plans.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Fresh or newly licensed CNAs are welcome
• Experienced CNA is preferred
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility/long-term care/senior care is a plus
• Valid and active CNA license in the state of California
• Must have an active BLS through the American Heart Association
• Must have an active CPR Certification
• Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards is required
• Interest in working with the geriatric population
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic understanding of nursing care procedures and patient safety protocols.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and their families.
