Qualifications

• Ability to read and write; effective communication with residents and staff.
• Prior Nurse Aide experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and receives nursing reports at start of shift.
• Assists residents with bathing, grooming, hygiene, and transfer.
• Explains procedures before administering and ensures patient comfort.
• Changes beds, linens, and maintains infection control practices.
• Assists with bowel/bladder functions and mobility as instructed.
• Transports residents to appointments and activities; assists with transfers.
