Job summary

Convivial Life Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct personal care to residents at Jacaranda Trace in Venice, FL. Under the Wellness Director and LPN supervision, you will support residents with their ADLs, promote independence, and engage with residents, families, and staff in a respectful, safe environment.

The role requires a CNA, CPR certification, and 1+ year geriatrics experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification active.
• CPR certification required.
• 1+ year of geriatrics experience in long-term care or similar setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assures resident safety.
• Provides personal services and assists with ADLs for residents as needed.
• Guides residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and daily routines.
• Monitors and reports changes in residents’ health or condition.
• Delivers meal trays to residents unable to reach dining room.
• Assists with medication reminders and hydration and monitors nutrition.
• Provides in-house escort services to activities and meals.
• Participates in ongoing trainings and staff education.
