Job summary

Responsibilities include safe medication administration, accurate documentation, and proactive communication with the nursing team and residents. A NJ CNA or Medication Aide certification is required, with prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification and/or active New Jersey CNA certification required.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist with medication administration per state regulations and policies.
• Observe residents and report changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation for resident care and regulatory compliance.
• Foster positive communication with residents, families, and team members to support quality care.
• Receive, organize, and store pharmacy deliveries and medications per procedures.
• Assist with wellness tasks such as vital signs and glucose monitoring.
• Support residents in the Assisted Living community to promote comfort and independence.
