Job summary

Madrid Home is seeking a caring Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our award-winning team.

You will provide resident care under the supervision of the nurse, assist with daily activities, chart interactions, and support the team to meet care plans in a respectful, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
• CMA: Must possess a current active certification to practice as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in Iowa.
• Experience in long-term care or with residents is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents under the supervision of the nurse and the support of your team.
• Provide physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
• Assist with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals, and other assigned tasks.
• Promptly answer residents' calls for assistance and provide compassionate care aligned with each resident's care plan.
• Chart resident interactions and communicate with team members to ensure resident rights are observed.
