Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist Registered Nurses in direct and indirect patient care. You will work on a unit under RN supervision, perform routine clinical tasks, and support the care team to ensure high-quality patient experiences.

Responsibilities include vital signs, intake/output, newborn care, specimen collection, and responding to patient needs promptly. A CNA and CPR certification are required, with a high school diploma as baseline.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or nursing student status.
• CPR certification (BLS) is required.
• High school diploma is required; college coursework preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist registered nurses with direct patient care.
• Take vital signs and record measurements for patients.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and newborn care as needed.
• Care for patients, respond to call lights, and ensure safety and comfort.
