Role

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! The CNA is responsible for providing direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home environment to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Follow and uphold the community’s philosophy and goal to maintain, improve, and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan.
• Complete documentation of resident care as assigned.
• Follow safety policies in performing nursing care, ensuring resident safety.
• Adhere to policies and procedures of the community.
• Participate in facility meetings and in-service training programs.
• Follow infection control guidelines.
• Report changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse.
• Respect residents’ rights, including privacy and dignity.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, families, and guests.

Qualifications

The CNA must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge in accordance with statutory requirements.
