The Ideal CNA Candidate Will Have:

• An active Certified Nurse Assistant license for New York and CPR certification
• A minimum of a high school diploma
• Strong English language skills (reading, writing, speaking)
• Experience as a geriatric CNA (highly desirable)
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility (preferred)
• Experience with SigmaCare (preferred)

About The Position:

Under supervision of a licensed nurse, the CNA assists and supervises residents in daily activities, providing compassionate care and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities Include:

• Personal care: bathing, toileting, feeding, transferring, grooming, mouth and nail care, maintaining cleanliness
• Monitoring resident condition and reporting changes
• Responding to resident calls
• Building relationships with residents, families, and healthcare team
• Providing comfort care, respecting individual routines and backgrounds
• Ensuring safety through proper use of equipment and incident reporting
• Performing clinical tasks: vital signs, measurements, transfers, skin care, etc.

Salary: $23.48 - $25.81 per hour
