Job summary

Transitions Healthcare Allen’s Cove is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Monday–Friday day shift to join our team of caregivers. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with no regular weekend work, supporting residents with daily living activities and vital sign checks.

You’ll be part of a compassionate, resident-centered care team focused on patient well-being, safety, and dignity, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, dental hygiene, room tidiness).
• Take and record vital signs.
• Collect routine specimens.
• Perform restorative care activities.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
• Respond to resident call bells and needs.
• Complete rounds and accurate documentation of care.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and safety concerns.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibility Highlights:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, dental hygiene, and room tidiness.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Collect routine specimens.
• Perform various restorative care activities.
• Assist with the admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
• Answer resident call bells and respond to resident needs.
• Complete drying and checking rounds.
• Record resident intake and output.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition, safety concerns, and potential hazards.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
• Assist visitors and answer telephone calls at the nursing station.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications:
