Cantex in Alvin, TX is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team. You will deliver hands-on patient care across ADLs, assist with transfers, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment. Flexible shifts include 2p-10p, 10p-6a, and double weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have active CNA certification.
• Ability to lift, move and transfer patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques
• Monitor, observe, and report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse
• Accurately document patient care and daily activities in accordance with regulations
• Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment
• Ensure medical equipment and devices are clean, charged, and functioning properly
• Participate in shift handoffs, team communication, and ongoing training
• Follow all state, federal, and facility policies and procedures
• Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety at all times
