Salary Range: $17.00 - $25.50
Support multiple locations within 150 miles of your permanent address
Additional $5 per hour float premium
Additional $1.25 per hour evening/night shift differential; 6:00pm – 6:00am
Required to work at least 30 hours per month
Required to work at least one weekend shift per month
3-month previous experience in Long Term Care required, 6 months preferred
The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as a caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods in long-term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Delivers age-appropriate care related to physical and psychological needs as per care plan. Follows infection prevention and control policies, including PPE use. Assists with basic healthcare needs such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, and psychosocial support. Aids in transferring, repositioning, and walking residents, and provides range of motion exercises. Supports food preparation and dining, assisting residents with meals and hydration.
The NA collaborates with nursing staff, documents resident interactions, and communicates changes in resident condition. Collects non-invasive specimens, records vital signs, and assists with housekeeping, laundry, and recreational activities. May participate in committees as needed.
