Job summary

Adoration Health in Newnan, GA is seeking a CNA / Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, one-on-one care to patients in their homes or facility settings. This full-time role offers Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with supportive team and opportunities for growth.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient conditions, document care, and collaborate with the hospice team to ensure dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Meet the training requirements of the state of practice.
• Minimum of six months experience including providing personal care.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Complete 75 hours of classroom/supervised training; 16 hours prior to practical training.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Understands hospice philosophy; comfortable caring for the terminally ill.
• Ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Ability to handle death/dying.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, repositioning.
• Monitor & Report: observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Mobility: assist with ambulation, transfers, ROM, equipment use.
• Medication Assistance: help with self-administered medications per state regs.
• Emotional Support: provide companionship and comfort to patients and families.
• Light Housekeeping: change linens, assist with meals, maintain space.
• Documentation: maintain accurate and timely records.
• Team Participation: collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team.

• Ability to work with little direct supervision
