Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a CNA / Hospice Aide to provide 1:1 care in Newnan, GA with Fayetteville/Newnan coverage and occasional Carrollton assignments. Full-time schedule is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, in-home hospice care delivering dignity and comfort.

You’ll work with a compassionate team, receive benefits, flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement as you support patients and their families through end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience providing personal care
• CPR certification current
• Must be 18+ years old
• Complete required state training for hospice care
• Ability to read and follow written instructions

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ROM, and safe equipment use
• Administer self-administered medications per state regulations
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean space
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and repositioning
• Monitor & Report: Observe and report changes in the patient's condition
• Mobility: Assist with ambulation, transfers, ROM exercises and safe equipment use
• Medication Assistance: Help with self-administered medications per state regulations
• Emotional Support: Offer companionship and comfort to patients and families.
• Light Housekeeping: Change linens, assist with meals, and maintain a clean space.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Team Participation: Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Meet the training requirements of the state of practice
• Minimum of six months experience including providing personal care
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Complete a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, 16 of the 75 hours of classroom must be complete prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
• Understands hospice philosophy, comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill
• Ability to work with little direct supervision
• Ability to handle death/dying
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good Organizational Skills
