BrightSpring Health Services, through Adoration Health, seeks a certified Nursing Assistant specialized for hospice care in the Pittsburgh/Kittanning area. The role emphasizes compassionate 1:1 patient support, dignity, and comfort in a sensitive home-hospice setting.

Qualifications

• Meet state training requirements for practice.
• Minimum six months experience providing personal care.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Complete 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Understand hospice philosophy and provide specialized care to the terminally ill.
• Ability to work with little supervision and handle death/dying.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and repositioning.
• Monitor & Report: observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Mobility: assist with ambulation, transfers, ROM, and safe equipment use.
• Medication Assistance: help with self-administered meds per state rules.
• Emotional Support: provide companionship and comfort to patients and families.
• Light Housekeeping: change linens, assist with meals, maintain space cleanliness.
• Documentation: maintain accurate and timely records.
• Team Participation: collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

As a Hospice CNA You will:

• Personal Care: Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and repositioning

• Team Participation: Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Meet the training requirements of the state of practice
• Minimum of six months experience including providing personal care
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Complete a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, 16 of the 75 hours of classroom must be complete prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
• Understands hospice philosophy, comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill
• Ability to work with little direct supervision
• Ability to handle death/dying
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good Organizational Skills
