Adoration Health is seeking a passionate Hospice CNA to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. M-F 8a–5p, with every 6 weekends on Saturdays and Sundays. Coverage area includes Washington & South Hills. This role emphasizes dignity, comfort, and compassionate care in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Must meet the state's practice training requirements.
• Minimum six months' personal care experience.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.

Responsibilities

• Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and repositioning.
• Observe and report changes in the patient’s condition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, ROM exercises and safe equipment use.
• Help with self-administered medications per state regulations.
• Offer companionship and comfort to patients and families.
• Change linens, assist with meals, and maintain a clean space.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Meet the training requirements of the state of practice
• Minimum of six months experience including providing personal care
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Complete a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, 16 of the 75 hours of classroom must be completed prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
• Understands hospice philosophy, comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill
• Ability to work with little direct supervision
• Ability to handle death/dying
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
