Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services Corporation is seeking a compassionate Hospice CNA to join our Adoration Hospice team in Murfreesboro, TN. This PRN role provides 1:1 patient care, supports families, and helps maintain dignity and comfort during a difficult time.

The ideal candidate will have CPR certification, at least six months of personal care experience, and the ability to work independently with team support. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must have training in the state of practice and CPR certification.
• Minimum of six months experience providing personal care.
• Must be 18+ years of age and able to read/write care documentation.
• Complete 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, with 16 hours prior to 16 hours of practical training.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and repositioning.
• Monitor changes in patient condition and report promptly.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, ROM, and safe equipment use.
• Help with medication administration per state regulations.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean space.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and repositioning

• Medication Assistance: Help with self-administered medications per state regulations

• Light Housekeeping: Change linens, assist with meals, and maintain a clean space.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Team Participation: Collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Meet the training requirements of the state of practice
• Minimum of six months experience including providing personal care
• Must be 18+ years of age
• Complete a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training, 16 of the 75 hours of classroom must be complete prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification in states where required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
• Understands hospice philosophy, comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill
• Ability to work with little direct supervision
• Ability to handle death/dying
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good Organizational Skills
