Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a compassionate Hospice CNA to join our Camp Hill, PA team. This full-time role provides 1:1 patient care with dignity and comfort for patients at a critical time, working weekdays 8AM-5PM.

You will support families, document care, and collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team. Qualifications include state training requirements, at least 75 classroom hours with 16 hours practical, a minimum of six months of personal care experience, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Meets the training requirements of the State.
• Completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training; 16 hours of classroom must be completed prior to a mandatory 16 hours of practical training.
• Minimum of six months experience including providing personal care.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Understands hospice philosophy, comfortable providing care to the terminally ill.
• Satisfactory references from previous employers.
• Ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Secure with issues of death/dying.
• Provides a calm manner when in a patient's home.
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification.
• Demonstrates tact, patience, and good personal hygiene.
• Successful probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care to patients and families.
• Monitor and report changes in patient’s condition.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ROM exercises and safe equipment use.
• Medication assistance per state regulations.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
• Light housekeeping: change linens, assist with meals, and maintain a clean space.
• Documentation: maintain accurate and timely records.
• Team participation: collaborate with hospice interdisciplinary team.

As a Hospice CNA You will:

• Personal Care : Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and repositioning
• Monitor & Report: Observe and report changes in the patient's condition
