Job summary

Generations Healthcare is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at English Oaks in Modesto. The CNA will provide quality patient care to residents with routine nursing tasks and assist with daily activities in line with each resident's care plan.

Requirements include a CA CNA certification, 18+ years old, HS diploma or GED, and ability to communicate in English. This full-time PM position offers benefits and growth opportunities with a competitive $22.00–$27.00/hour wage.

Qualifications

• Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant.
• 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language and communicate effectively.
• Excellent customer service and the desire to be part of a dynamic team.
• No experience required, new graduates welcome.
• This position requires the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening.

• Provide excellent patient care to residents.
• Assist residents with daily routines such as personal hygiene, bath functions, taking vitals, meals, bed change, etc.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure safety of residents.
• Lifting or transporting into and out of beds, wheelchairs, showers, chairs, etc.
• Report and update records on resident’s conditions.
• Follow instructions from the Charge Nurse/ Supervisor.

Position Overview: The primary role of the Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide quality patient care to your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisor.
