Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Boise is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, with day or night shifts. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The role supports licensed staff and provides patient care in a 40-bed critical care setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting care, and maintaining a safe environment, with required BLS certification within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of Nurse Aide or related experience preferred or can be substituted for education.
• Current, valid CNA certification in the employing state required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Documents activities of daily living and maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Performs basic infection control procedures and basic nutrition/fluid intake tasks.

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required within six months of date of hire.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
