Vibra Healthcare in Mandan, ND is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, with day and night shifts. A $3000 bonus opportunity is offered to support recruiting and retention.

You will assist licensed personnel with daily living activities, document care, and help maintain a clean, safe environment while following infection control and nutrition guidelines. CNA certification and BLS are required; two years of CNA or related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of Nurse Aide experience or relevant experience.
• Active Nursing Assistant certification in the state of employment.
• BLS certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing personnel with activities of daily living and care.
• Document patient care and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Follow infection control procedures and assist with nutrition and hydration.
• Recognize and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required within six months of date of hire.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
