Job summary

Sylvan Shores Health and Wellness is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our skilled nursing team on a full-time basis. The role supports patients, families and staff while upholding high standards of care in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The position requires a Texas CNA certification, a High School diploma or GED, and reliable transportation. You’ll work a day shift (6 AM–2 PM) with opportunities for ongoing training and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Valid Texas Certified Nurse Aide Certification (Required).
• Reliable transportation (Required).
• CPR certification (Preferred).
• Hoyer Lift Experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Enjoy working in a skilled nursing facility setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties.
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year).
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• Supportive and compassionate.
• Take pride in providing high quality care.
