Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas in Mandan, ND is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a 13-week contract. Earn $35.00/hour with 12-hour shifts, full-time days or nights.

Join a 41-bed facility delivering long-term acute care to medically complex patients in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities include assisting licensed staff with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and clean patient area, and promptly responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of experience as a Nurse Aide or relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education.
• Active Nursing Assistant certification required in state of employment.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor within six months of date of hire.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required within six months of date of hire.

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
