Job summary

Bob and Ginny Shell Memory Care is seeking a CNA to provide resident care on the night shift (6:30 pm–7:00 am). You will assist with hygiene, bathing, feeding, mobility, and comfort, monitor vitals, and report concerns to the LPN/RN while following infection-control policies.

Qualified applicants must hold current Arkansas CNA certification; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Long‑term care experience is a plus, and strong communication skills are essential for working with

CNA Certified Nursing Assistant-Bob and Ginny Shell Memory Care

Department: Bob and Ginny Shell Memory Care

Shift: Night (6:30 pm to 7:00 am)

Hours: 72 hours bi‑weekly

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident/patient care needs and comforts including oral hygiene, bathing, nail care, shaving, and hair care.
• Ensure bowel and bladder needs are met per standards of care.
• Assist with residents' nutritional needs.
• Assist with residents' activity needs as assigned (ambulation, moving, lifting, positioning).
• Follow infection control standards, policies, and procedures.
• Treat all residents, visitors, and employees with courtesy.
• Accept and organize assignments delegated by the LPN/RN.
• Exhibit knowledge of Resident Rights and report concerns/complaints to the LPN/RN.
• Ensure residents' needs are met upon request.
• Consistently perform CNA skills: vital signs, Foley care, specimen collection, and use of lifts and equipment.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge and competency in CNA practice.
• Meet attendance policy and enhance team effectiveness through dependability.
• Problem‑solve, prioritize, and exercise initiative as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Arkansas CNA certification required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; certificate in Nursing Assistant accepted.
• Long‑term care experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate, speak, and write appropriately.
• Enthusiasm, dedication, and enjoyment of working with elderly adults.
