Job summary

Fort Worth Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver excellent patient care. We value employees and residents alike, offering competitive wages and multiple shifts, including overnight options.

Texas CNA license is required. You will perform resident rounds, assist with daily living activities, follow safety procedures, and document care in line with facility policy.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Texas CNA license and ability to perform nursing duties as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with facility policies and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours to administer nursing care.
• Verify resident identity before administering care or serving food.
• Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator promptly.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned and within resident reach.
• Other duties as directed by supervisors.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility's established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident's reach.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
