Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Fort Worth, Texas facility. This full-time night shift (10pm-6am) role focuses on compassionate patient care, supporting clinicians and improving residents' lives, with competitive wages and multiple shifts.

Requirements include Texas CNA License; duties include rounds every two hours, verifying resident IDs, assisting with daily living activities, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and reporting to Nurse

Qualifications

• Texas CNA License required.
• Ability to work 10pm–6am shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care per facility policies and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident IDs before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions staff.
• Make beds and clean bedside surfaces.
• Ensure water pitchers are filled and within resident reach.
• Other duties as assigned by Charge Nurse or supervisor.

General Duties and Responsibilities: GENERAL

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
