Per Diem

Certified Nursing Assistants at Masonicare at Ashlar Village assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care to maximize independence, freedom of choice, and quality of life. The official title for this role is “Residential Care Assistant”.

CNA - Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care, including bathing, dressing, ambulating, toileting, meals, personal hygiene, transferring, and caring for ADL devices.
• Support instrumental activities of daily living such as communication, light housekeeping, laundry, escorting, transportation, and mail.
• Assist with self-administration of medications through cueing.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional status to supervisors.
• Conduct room checks, monitor safety hazards, and record incidents and resident events.
• Assist in dining activities, including escorting residents, set-up, and clean-up.
• Participate in resident-centered activity programs and document care and activities.
• Act as a resident advocate and follow confidentiality policies.
• Use tactful communication in sensitive situations and follow up appropriately.
• Represent the facility to guests and visitors, maintaining required certifications.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements
