Job summary

Absolut Center of Endicott seeks dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing care team. You will work closely with nurses and medical staff to deliver essential daily care and improve the quality of life for our long-term care and rehabilitation residents.

You will assist with bathing, transfers, vital signs, meals, and ensuring comfort, with shift options full-time, part-time, or per diem. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team in a home-like setting.

Qualifications

• Active NYS CNA certification
• Experience in long-term care preferred, but new grads welcome
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Assist with resident transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
• Measure and log vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature)
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and track fluid/food intake
• Answer resident call signals promptly and courteously
• Report changes in residents to the Charge Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Assist with resident transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
• Measure and log vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature)
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and track fluid/food intake
• Answer resident call signals promptly and courteously
• Report any physical or behavioral changes in residents to the Charge Nurse

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education/License: Active NYS CNA certification
• Experience: Prior experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility preferred, but new graduates are welcome!
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shifts
