Job summary

Absolut Center of Endicott is seeking dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing care team. You will work closely with nurses and medical staff to deliver essential daily care and improve the quality of life for our long-term care and rehabilitation residents.

We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions with a competitive hourly wage and benefits. Candidates must be actively certified in NYS and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Active NYS CNA certification required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred; new grads welcome.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Assist with resident transfers, ambulation, and repositioning.
• Measure and log vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature).
• Serve meals and assist with feeding; track intake.
• Answer resident call signals promptly and courteously.
• Report changes to the Charge Nurse.

As a valued member of our team, you will work closely with nurses and medical staff to deliver essential daily care and improve the quality of life for our long-term care and rehabilitation residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Assist with resident transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
• Measure and log vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature)
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and track fluid/food intake
• Answer resident call signals promptly and courteously
• Report any physical or behavioral changes in residents to the Charge Nurse

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education/License: Active NYS CNA certification
• Experience: Prior experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility preferred, but new graduates are welcome!
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shifts
