Job summary

Magnolia Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, part of Alliance Health Group, is seeking compassionate CNAs for all shifts in Thomasville, NC. We offer full-time and part-time roles with flexible 8-hour and 12-hour schedules to fit your life and career goals.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor well-being under licensed staff, and support a collaborative interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold North Carolina CNA certification in good standing.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service mindset with compassionate resident care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility).
• Observe residents and report changes to licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output as assigned.
• Assist transfers, positioning, and ambulation with safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable environment for residents.
• Respond promptly to call lights with compassionate care.
• Document care provided per facility policies.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Follow infection prevention, HIPAA, and safety guidelines.
• Promote dignity, independence, and quality of life through person-centered care.

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living while promoting comfort, dignity, independence, and overall well-being. Working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, the CNA provides high-quality care in accordance with individualized care plans, facility policies, and state and federal regulations.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.

• Observe residents and promptly report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to the licensed nurse.

• Measure and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other resident information as assigned.

• Assist with transfers, positioning, and ambulation using proper safety techniques and equipment.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests while providing compassionate, respectful care.

• Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies.

• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident outcomes.

• Follow infection prevention, HIPAA, and resident safety guidelines at all times.

• Promote residents' dignity, independence, and quality of life through compassionate, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.

• CPR certification preferred.

• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
