QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Prior work/life experiences involving independent decision-making
• Prior experience in a healthcare environment is desirable
• Must have or be willing to take COVID vaccination

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a CNA, you will:

• Participate in and receive resident reports at the start/end of shift.
• Provide personal/nursing care in accordance with the resident care plan.
• Facilitate and conduct activities.
• Monitor and respond to resident requests and needs in a respectful and dignified manner.
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents.
• Assist in preparing residents for activities within and outside the center.
• Ensure all resident care is provided respectfully and with dignity.
• Perform basic nursing care procedures as required.
• Create a safe, comfortable environment and meet residents' needs.
• Meet resident food service needs promptly and compassionately.
• Maintain documentation records related to activities of daily living, restorative programs, and resident-specific forms.
• Adhere to departmental, center, and corporate policies, objectives, and safety standards.
• Attend scheduled training, educational classes, and orientation to maintain certification and improve care quality.
• Perform other related activities as requested.
