Job summary

Avalon Nursing and Rehab is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join our healthcare team. As a CNA you will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support mobility under supervision in a hospital, nursing home, or home care setting.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing.
• Experience providing patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Provide basic medical care including catheter care and medication administration under supervision.
• Support patients with mobility needs using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
