Dial in Overland Park, KS seeks a compassionate CNA for part-time day and night shifts. You will provide essential care to residents, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include following care plans, helping with hygiene and mobility, monitoring vitals, documenting changes, and supporting a clean, respectful environment. CNA certification and active registry are required; prior senior living experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• CNA certification active with state Nurse Aid Registry.
• Basic First Aid training completed.
• High school diploma or GED.

Position Overview

This position will provide essential care to our residents by assisting them with activities of daily living while ensuring wellbeing and safety.

• Responsible for providing services to each resident according to the resident service plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, hygiene, and mobility.
• Monitor health, safety and well-being of the residents by taking and recording vitals, reporting nuances to supervisor.
• Support resident mobility by assisting with transfers, positioning, walking, and using mobility aids as needed.
• Document information pertaining to changes in residents’ functional status, personal needs, appointments, etc.
• Maintain an accurate record of chargeable services and submit record to supervisor by the designated date each month.
• Respond promptly to call signals and resident emergencies, assisting with their immediate need or contacting emergency support.
• Assist with minor housekeeping of residents’ apartments, including laundry if applicable.
• Maintain clean and sanitary resident spaces, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Encourage socialization among residents and promote activities, chaperoning and assisting as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, facility operations, and personnel.
• Report on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
• Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and in-services
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Certified Nurse’s Aide Certification and active with state Nurse Aid Registry
• Basic First Aid Training
• High school diploma or GED
