Responsibilities

1. Provide personal care to residents ensuring safety and comfort.
2. Promote independence among residents.
3. Communicate resident status to supervisors at shift start and end.
4. Contribute to resident care plans with observations and needs.
5. Assist in implementing care plans within established policies.
6. Observe and report on residents’ conditions, documenting as required.
7. Ensure safe lifting and transfer procedures are followed.
8. Perform moderate to heavy lifting as needed.
9. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment.
10. Perform incidental housekeeping to maintain a hazard-free environment.
11. Other duties as assigned.
