Requirements for this CNA job

To thrive as a Full-Time CNA at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, you'll need a blend of essential skills and knowledge that make all the difference in residents' lives. A high school education or equivalent is required, along with current Pennsylvania certification as a nursing assistant. Prior CNA experience is preferred, as familiarity with federal, state, and local skilled nursing regulations can enhance your effectiveness in the role. Strong communication skills are vital, enabling you to connect with residents, including those who are visually or hearing impaired, and understand the specific care needs of geriatric residents, particularly in dementia care. Intermediate computer skills are necessary to document care and maintain accurate records.
