Position Description

As a CNA, you will provide routine nursing care following established policies and procedures, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator, to ensure high-quality resident care at all times.

Qualifications

• Certification as a CNA.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm to handle residents at their current maturity level.

General Duties

• Prepare residents for therapy, activities, visits, and religious services, including transportation.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Attend educational programs, training, and meetings as directed.
• Assist residents with hygiene, bathing, and self-help activities.
• Follow infection control procedures, especially during isolation.
• Chart relevant information each shift.
• Present a professional image through dress, behavior, and speech.
• Resolve consumer concerns according to company standards.
• Protect residents’ rights.
