Home Health Care 2000 is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our traveling home health team in Lafayette, LA. You will perform essential personal care tasks and monitor patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist, documenting observations and care provided.

On the road, you will promote quality, continuity, and safety of patient care while meeting scheduling needs for full- or part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred (1 year).
• Home health care experience preferred (1 year).
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients and report observations to supervisor.
• Document observations and care performed.
• Provide personal care services as needed.
• Work under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist.

Job description

The CNA home health aide is a paraprofessional member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the patient's needs. The home health aide is responsible for observing patients, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed.

The CNA home health aide will be assigned in a manner, which promotes quality, continuity and safety of a patient's care.
