Job summary

Wate-rview Health & Rehab in Hampton, VA is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. You will assist residents with daily living activities and support the healthcare team in a long-term care and rehab setting.

We offer 7a-3p and 3p-11p shifts (full-time & part-time). Competitive pay up to $24.20/hour depending on shift and experience, plus health/dental/vision for FT staff, PTO, and a friendly leadership team with weekly staff appreciation events.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Virginia (VA).
• Experience in long-term care or rehab is a plus.
• Flexible for rotating weekends and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document residents' vital signs and health status.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Help with meals and ensure nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
• Provide medication reminders per directions.
• Support a positive, friendly atmosphere for residents and families.

Key Duties Include:

• Monitor and document residents' vital signs, physical conditions, and emotional well-being.
• Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents.
• Assist with meal service, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Communicate with nursing staff about any changes in residents' conditions.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers.
• Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents, their families, and the team.
