Job summary

Hilltop Health Group in West Covina, California is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team for the full-time PM shift. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support residents with dignity and respect.

The role requires an active CNA certification and a high school diploma or equivalent, with good English communication and physical stamina to lift and move patients and stand for long

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification with completion of a CNA program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Good physical health to lift and move patients, and/or stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for residents under the supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse.
• Such care includes assistance with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outings.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Ensure patient safety by lifting and transferring individuals as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for patient care.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality patient service.
• Organizational skills are required to keep the unit running smoothly.
• Other duties as assigned
