Job summary

Onyx Health Consulting is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Florida. You will assist patients with daily living activities and monitor vital signs, while documenting care accurately in the chart.

The role requires a current CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience in long-term or acute care is preferred, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Must be compassionate and patient with all types of patients.
• Experience in long-term care or acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate.
• Administer medications and document all medication administration in the patient's chart.
• Keep patient rooms clean and tidy.
• Help patients with mobility, including using walkers or wheelchairs, and positioning them in beds or chairs.
• Record all care provided to patients accurately and timely.
• Report any changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.
• Respond to patient calls in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
