Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct support with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding with dignity.
• Clinical observation: measure vitals, track intake/output, watch for changes.
• Resident safety: respond to calls, assist with mobility and turning to prevent sores.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized living areas for residents.
• Accurate reporting and electronic record updates per state/federal guidelines.

Responsibilities Of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Direct Support: Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding with dignity.
• Clinical Observation: Measure vital signs, record intake/output, and monitor for changes in condition.
• Resident Safety: Promptly answer calls and assist with mobility, including turning and repositioning to prevent pressure sores.
• Environment: Maintain clean, safe, and organized living conditions for all residents.
• Documentation: Ensure all reports and electronic records are completed accurately and in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• License: Must possess an active Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Certification: Current CPR certification (American Heart Association) and High School Diploma/GED.
• Skills: Basic computer knowledge and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience: Previous long-term care experience is preferred, but we welcome dedicated individuals eager to learn.
