  • Department: Skilled Nursing & Assisted Living
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Evenings (Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts & will include rotating holidays), Full-Time, Days & Evenings (8 hour shifts & will include rotating weekends/holidays) & Part-Time, Days (8 hour shifts & will include rotating weekends/holidays)
  • Facility: Sacred Heart Village
  • Location: Avilla, IN
  • Salary Range: $17.31 - $25.09 per hour

Responsibilities

Assist with basic patient care activities.

  • Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly. Assure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
  • Assist in providing care appropriate to a specific population by facilitating time and individualized care of assigned patients.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
