Prairie Vista Village is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Altoona, IA. The CNA provides direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home setting to promote the highest possible physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Following care plans, you will assist with activities of daily living and complete documentation with attention to safety and quality care. The role is part-time (up to 29 hours weekly), with shifts primarily 6am–2:30pm.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an approved CNA training program and competency examinations.
• Provides direct, hands-on care to residents in a nursing home setting.
• Upholds safety, infection control, and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents as outlined in care plans.
• Complete documentation of resident care and observations.
• Assist with activities of daily living to support independence.
• Follow infection control guidelines and safety policies.
• Attend meetings and participate in ongoing training programs.
